Balloon Dogs

I enjoy putting an outfit together. Whether it's for myself or for someone else, it's such a fun and rewarding thing to do because one can have his/her personality shine through the outfits they're wearing. Personally, if you're seeking for an instant pick-me-up, incorporate something you love/fun/makes you smile into your outfit. Ostwald Helgason is a London based label founded by Susanne Ostwald and Ingvar Helgason. I have been a fan when I first saw their collection from 2013 F/W. Their designs are a combination of opulent patterns and wearable silhouettes; quirky and unexpected. This pair of jacquard shorts by Ostwald Helgason is one of those pieces that puts a smile on my face. It's got balloon poodles all over! They remind me of Jeff Koons balloon dogs. So cute, right?

It was a very hot day in Vancouver, I wanted to look crisp and fresh. Of course, if you know me, you'd know I always include something with a pop of colour(or 2) into my whole look. For this instance, my magenta mirrored effect aviators.
Forgot to mention, my pumps are also by a collaboration with Ostwald Helgason and Aldo Rise from Spring 2014. I love the chunky heels with stripe patterns.
